Time Of Arrival Once the ladybugs arrive to you: Mist cool water or a mixture of honey & cool water on the bag for the lady bugs to drink. DO NOT put the bag into the refrigerator when wet. DO NOT put them in the freezer. After bag is dried, place the bag of ladybugs in a cool place, specified at 35-40°F. Ladybugs can be kept in a cool place (specified temperature of 35-40°F) for approximately 1-2 weeks.	Pre-Release Before release of ladybugs: Lightly, sprinkle or mist the area with cool water or a mixture of honey & cool water providing the ladybugs a source of water/mixture to drink. Then, you may slowly release the ladybugs.	Release When to release: Ladybugs should be released when your plant(s) are partially flowering. The flowers will provide the ladybugs a place to hide.


When To Release It is recommended to release the ladybugs during the early morning or at dusk when temperatures are cooler. If the temperatures are cooler, it is safe to release at any time. DO NOT release ladybugs during the heat of the day or if your area is experiencing extreme temperatures.	Where To Release Release ladybugs on the plant leaves and also the base (trunk) of the plant(s). Ladybugs tend to climb upwards as they look for food. For an optimum environment for the ladybugs, eliminate ants from your garden because ants compete with the ladybugs for food. Ladybugs should be released few at a time. During season, ladybugs should be released twice a week when the leaves are young, tender, and attractive to pest. For heavy infestations of pests, it is recommended to release the whole bag/cup of ladybugs at one time.	Food Should Be Present It is important to note that the ladybugs must have a food source, water, and a cool shady place to hide. If the ladybugs do not find these, the ladybugs will fly away looking elsewhere for food. If pests are not present, you may mist the plant(s) with a mixture of honey and water to provide a food source for the ladybugs.
